Query CSV files with SQL

No database to set up

Loading a CSV into a database usually means installing one, writing a CREATE TABLE, and fighting import settings. Here the file becomes a table named data in a few seconds, with column types detected for you (INTEGER, REAL or TEXT). The engine is SQLite, compiled to WebAssembly and running in your tab — the same SQL you'd use anywhere else.

What you can run

• Aggregations: GROUP BY, HAVING, COUNT(DISTINCT …)
• Window functions: ROW_NUMBER(), RANK(), running totals with SUM(…) OVER (ORDER BY …)
• Common table expressions: WITH … AS (…)
• Date and text functions: strftime, substr, lower, trim, replace
• Several statements at once: create helper tables, then query them — the last result is shown.
